Default History of the Tremec TR3650 Transmission

I realize this is a FoxBody website, but I just wrote this article about the TR3650.
Many of us have newer mustangs as well as the old, so this information should be useful.

It is filled with lots of details and covers the changes this transmission has gone through to get to the point it is today.

In this article I compare the 01-04 version to the 05-10 and go over the progression of changes and updates through the years.

If you find something that you disagree with, I'd like to hear it.
If you find a topic i should have covered please tell me!

Feel free to point out any errors or omissions as well!

It is interesting to learn what (few) cars other than the Mustang were built with a TR3650, and what the possible fifth gear ratios are.

    Thank you Sean!

This information is not really out on the internet. I've pulled some information from other sites, but mostly it is from my own experience and research.

It is interesting that after 200+ views of this post only 50-60 people have actually viewed the page and probably fewer yet took the time to actually read it.

Yes, it is a boring read if you don't actually go into the TR3650's and have a vested interest!

How many people know that a 2005-2010 fork is DIFFERENT from a 2001-2004 fork, or that the 2005-2010 input shafts are LONGER than the 2001-2010 shafts?

Google has picked up on it pretty well!
It pops right up when I search for "history of the TR3650"...
