Default How far would you go for a radio?

First off i know its not a fox but this is my daily driver since i live rather far from work. Also the stereo equipment i already had and if it was not for this i might have gone with a flipout and the civic parts i had laying around as well. In any case the car is a 97 civic and they had manual HVAC controls and no room for a double din install. In order to convert this over you have to swap out the whole heater core, HVAC fan, dash harness, HVAC controls with dash and center A/C vent. As you can see the whole dash has to come out, Heater hoses and A/C lines disconnected. After it was all said and done this is a Alpine Double Din with DVD, NAV, Bluetooth and iPod interface.

    Talking

About 5 hours total but alot of that was messing with the heater hoses, recharging the a/c and hooking up all the different componets for the radio.

Yeap I use to work at Roger's in Anderson, we working on some custom fox stuff too real soon. Just not enough time before MW since we still getting the cars back together. But I like to take my time and use the right materials so it's worth it in the long run. I think polished Lexan will be the media of choice this go around

Thanks for all the input guys, dont get me wrong i still love my vert and it will be getting much needed stereo attention very soon. Just trying to get it clean and presentable for MW first and trust me thats been and still is being a pain. This Honda is my daily and considering all the mods ive done to it its rather fun to drive now but only because i drive close to two hours each day to work. I know some drive thier fox's that far and more daily but gas was killing me so Honda it is and now its just alittle better of a drive with the stereo complete. Caint wait to get back and tear down the vert again and start on the stereo in it but there just aint enough time for the build and fiberglass work till we head out.
